Ok folks-
Version 2 of your short stories are due TODAY by the end of the hour.
Make sure to post what you have and spend some time browsing your classmates' blogs.
Once you have surfed a while and given feedback, start working on your lyrics project- think of some songs that have interesting and noteworthy lyrics and go from there.

Monday, March 16th
We talked about posting our warm-up, so I would like to have you post either your warm-up for today, or one that you wrote last week if you don't like what you did today.
Topics for today:
#105. Stop what you are doing and listen for one minute. Write the thoughts you had during this activity.
#272. Use all these words in a story: priest, ring, garden, magnifying glass.
Or: make up your own prompt- just make sure you write something.
Here's the deal for today:
1. Finish working on v. 2 of your 55 word short story.
2. Post your revised version.
3. Hand in hard copy stapled to v. 1
4. Start working on your longer short story. Brainstorm ideas with peers if needed.
5. Travel 'round the blogosphere--this is important. Read, and comment.

Did you think about Presidents yesterday on President's Day? :)
Here's the skinny:
1. The final version of your play is due today. Post it AND give me a hard copy. Staple that new version on top of the old version (the one I wrote on).
2. Work on "A Time My World Changed."
3. Travel round the blogosphere. Read people's plays and give them positive, specific comments.
4. Post the first version of your poem if you get it to a place where you'd like others to read it.
Remember--1st version of the poem is due on Thursday.
